Laerskool Die Ruiter Primary recently formulated a captivating mathematical equation to show how much they value and appreciate their women.
According to the school’s Suzette Louw the guests became acquainted with the equation ‘L + T = R²’ on Saturday, August 27.
“L + T = R² stands for Ladies + Tea = Real Relaxation. This means that on this day ladies took time from their hectic schedules to come together to enjoy being treated and being a woman,” she said.
Around 200 women were seated at tables which were decorated in bright colours and represented their theme of the day, which was ‘Bohemian Paradise’.
They also enjoyed some quality entertainment by vocal artist Tanya V whose inspirational and energetic performance elicited a cheerful response from the audience.
There were also stalls with art, chillies, bath and hair accessories, jewellery, furniture, wood and steelwork and a variety of homecrafts for the guests to browse through. They also had a photo booth.
“We were able to gift almost all the ladies with hampers and gift bags thanks to our wonderful sponsors and staff. We thank each and every person who contributed to the success of the event,” Louw concluded.
