Cansa Shavathon at Kwena Square

Kwena Square hosted a fundraising initiative for Cansa on Saturday, February 24.

The Cansa Shavathon team visited Kwena Square on Saturday, February 24 to raise funds for a very worthy cause.

According to the centre’s Holly Nemathithi, this is only the second time that Kwena Square has hosted the Cansa Shavathon, and they are very appreciative of the support from the local community. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to take part in a cause that is so worthwhile.

Holly, accompanied by a small but dedicated group of student volunteers, undertook several haircuts and colours on the day.
