The King’s School West Rand kicks off the year with a bang!
A brand-new preschool facility and a cutting-edge IT centre have officially opened, bringing exciting opportunities for both little learners and future tech innovators.
On February 1, the brand new preschool facility was officially opened. This facility caters for babies from three months, up to Grade R. The long-awaited project was completed in December and the children and teachers celebrated the opening with a carnival. The spacious playground and large classrooms this facility offers have been such a blessing to the school community already since its opening.
The school also opened a brand new IT centre that will concentrate on equipping learners with the skills necessary to remain relevant in the workforce with 4IR skills. The lab is not only used for teaching CAT and IT but will also be used to offer Coding & Robotics, Hackathons, short certificate courses and collaborative projects in the digital world.
