Community unites for successful blood donation drive

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) and Local Choice Pharmacy Witpoortjie joined forces to host a successful blood donation drive on Friday, March 28.

The SANBS team aimed to collect 15 units of blood, and thanks to the community’s efforts, this goal was achieved. Members of the public, including Joburg West Caxton employees, came together to donate blood and save lives.

As a token of appreciation, the pharmacy handed out goodie bags to donors, while SANBS gifted them with wireless speakers. The event was a heartwarming display of community spirit and generosity.
