Weltevreden Park kwaito star releases feel-good problem-free tune
Puff Nesca's Ra Itolokisa officially released in March and is available on all major digital streaming platforms.
When it comes to grooving away our problems, South Africa is number one.
No matter how dire the situation is; petrol price hikes, load-shedding, or funerals we know how to turn any situation into a lituation. New-age kwaito artist Puff Nesca has released a feel-good, problem-free tune, Ra Itolokisa, executing the memo to perfection. Loosely translated as ‘we are having fun’, it is a good-vibes tune that will have you leaving your problems behind and heading straight to the dance floor.

“It’s a track that was made to get people in a party mood. It takes me back to my younger years during the era when groups of friends would fill up VW Caravelle minibuses and head to parks and resorts for a good time,” Puff Nesca said.
“Things were much simpler then. The stress levels were non-existent and it was just young people getting together and just enjoying life,” he added
The track is produced by DJ Louis Lunch, a seasoned producer, DJ, and sound engineer, and features fresh Pretoria talent Buddy Lenyora on vocals.

“There were just five people in the studio when we were recording that track, but because of the beat and how our lyrics just flowed, it felt like we were hosting the biggest party. There’s just been too much going on in the world lately and we could all use some good music to get away from it all,” said the kwaito star.
From the instrumentals to its sing-along catchy hook, Ra Itolokisa is the right dose of therapy the grooviest doctor ordered. Born Boineelo Seokwang, Puff Nesca is an artist with a message in his music and a penchant for quality sound. The kasi lad is a pantsula at heart and the loudest at the table with energy that cannot be quenched.
Music has played a major role in his life from a young age, performing at the Top of the Pops showcase in the North West. It was around this time when he learned how to write music from a friend who became family, Bongani Lamola, who he credits for inspiring him and ensuring he perfected his craft daily. He has since worked with producers and artists like Louis Lunch, KilloTronix, Aso Tandwa, Mzidou, PlayNevig, Buddy Lenyora, St. Plaatjies, and SeJulz, to name a few.
He describes his sound as ‘South Africa in a box’, explaining that inside there are sounds distinct to the country like kwaito, amapiano, and kasi rap; sounds that cannot be separated from the South African culture. Ra Itolokisa was officially released on March 17 and is available on all major digital streaming platforms.
