Roodepoort residents asked to prepare for eight hour power interruption

City Power announced planned maintenance power interruption for eight hours on June 22

According to Isaac Mangena, City Power spokesperson, the planned power interruption will be affecting the following areas: Davidsonville, Davidsonville Ext 01, Davidsonville Ext 02, Goudrand, Roodepoort, Roodepoort West Ext 01 and Wilfordon Ext 01.

“The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide a better service,” explained Mangena.

The interruption will take place from 08:00 to 16:00 on June 22.

“As the supply may be restored anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times. City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by this power interruption.”
