Roads in Witpoortjie are closed off due to protest action – motorists and residents are urged to take caution.
Residents and motorists are cautioned to avoid the intersection of Corlett Avenue and Albertina Sisulu Road in Witpoortjie.
According to Frik van Zyl, public relations officer for the West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch, there is protest action taking place due to electricity woes plaguing the area.
He added no injuries were reported and they have closed off all the roads leading to where the protest is taking place.
