Kwena Square rewards shoppers with grand prize giveaways
Birthday celebrations are a chance to give back to those who make the shopping centre part of their daily life.
Kwena Square celebrated its first birthday by giving away a host of prizes to its valued customers.
Shoppers had been adding their till slips to the lucky draw boxes for several weeks and on July 29, Kwena Square invited 20 finalists to cross their fingers and hope for their names to be called out. All prizes were donated by Kwena Square tenants and supporting partners and totalled over a whopping R60 000 in value. Three lucky women won big but all those invited got a chance to dig for a mystery consolation prize.

The third-placed prize was won by Prinisha Naidoo and was valued at R15 540. The prize consisted of a Virgin Active Little Falls premier gym membership, a branding machine sponsored by Bidvest Waltons, a Checkers shopping voucher and a voucher for Neovision optometrists.

Eyes would be fixed on the announcement of the second-placed prize which featured a two-night hotel stay in Cape Town courtesy of newly opened Tiger’s Milk. Jolize Rosslee will be taking her partner to the Cape and will enjoy a Franschhoek Wine Tram Hop-On Hop-Off Experience while there. The total prize was valued at just short of R20 000 and included a voucher needing to be claimed at a Tiger’s Milk branch in Cape Town, a voucher from Leroy Merlin and a premier gym membership from Virgin Active Little Falls.
The grand prize was a one-week spring getaway at any one of four luxury resorts sponsored by the Leisure Portfolio Association. Elizabeth Nissen was the lucky winner and she added a premier Virgin Active Little Falls gym membership and a Triban bicycle from Decathlon to her haul.

Kwena Square marketing manager Elsabe Gliddon hosted the draw and was full of praise for the participants. Thanking everyone who added their till slips, Elsabe said, “The Kwena Square community is unmatched and we wanted to reward them for shopping with us. In the future, we plan on doing much more community initiatives that bring us closer to those who support us the most.”
