Good times and good vibes at Constantia Primary

Constantia Kloof Primary celebrated its 45th birthday by hosting a Family Fun Day.

Parents who form part of the Constantia Kloof Primary fundraising committee hosted a Family Fun Day, raising funds for the school as the sun rose on Workers’ Day (May 1).

As the parents and learners made their way to the school playground, a variety of jumping castles were set up for the children to indulge in for the entire day.

Thobile Tseku, the fundraising committee chairperson, says that in addition to generating money, the event is held every year to provide parents and learners a chance to unwind from their hectic schedules and have a fun-filled day with their families.

“Due to the hectic school year planned this year, Workers’ Day was the only appropriate day for the fun day.

“The cherry on top is that our school is celebrating 45 years, so before winter officially arrives, parents can come to celebrate the school’s accomplishments while enjoying the cool, sunny day,” Thobile adds.

She continues to assert that the parents on the committee will keep up their efforts to raise funds for the school’s next projects and expresses her hope that additional parents would be inspired to join this wonderful initiative.
