Hello Roodepoort, my name is Nkosephayo Vilakazi, and I have officially joined the Roodepoort Record family.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston Media House, and I majored in journalism, radio production and television production.
This is a very emotional journey for me because I’m extremely passionate about this. This passion for journalism stems from growing up in a place where the community’s issues fell on deaf ears because they weren’t considered important enough.
With a knack for community journalism, I yearn to tell the stories that are being ignored and raise awareness on the burning matters that hold the ones who are meant to be responsible accountable for their incompetence. My mission is to tell your stories without any fear or favour, and together we can make a difference – one story at a time!
