Teenagers missing: Families urge for assistance

Your help in spreading the word and reporting any potential leads could make a huge difference in locating the two.

The families of Joshlyn van der Merwe and Dominic le Cordeur have filed a missing persons case with the Honeydew Police Station after the teenagers disappeared on Thursday, December 19.

Both families are growing increasingly desperate for information on the whereabouts of their loved ones.

Joshlyn, who left home at about 15:00 that afternoon, informed her family she was heading to the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden with her friend Dominic.

However, since then, neither family has been able to contact them.

A missing persons case has been officially registered with the police.

Details to note:

 • Missing since: Thursday, December 19

 • Last known location: En route to the botanical garden

The families have appealed to the community for assistance and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
