Ruimsig Country Estate held a tennis court open day on Saturday, 28 September where residents enjoyed a good family fun day with lots of activities and food vendors.

Two tennis coaches shared their wisdom on the sport and provided some free coaching lessons for the young future tennis stars.

Tennis coach, Leon du Toit said, “It is such a huge honour to be able to teach these children the basics of tennis. They are fast learners, and most of them possess a natural swing of the racket.”

The food vendors provided delicious food; there were two camels that entertained the public the whole day long, walking them up and down the entire park; and visitors could meet some famous soccer players and enjoy some motocross bikes.

The children also enjoyed action soccer and explored the activity-packed facilities at Ruimsig Country Estate.

The open day was a joint effort between Kela Properties, whose representatives attended the event, handed out some sweets, and ran a competition, and Pro Edge Management, the managing agent for Ruimsig Country Estate.
