Crawfordians selected to represent Central West in Rhino Week

Gcebile is taking part in Rhino Week for the first time, whereas Tristan participated last year and was chosen to play in Ireland.

Two local high school rugby players have been chosen to represent Central West Gauteng Rugby during Rhino Week.

Tristan Hogins and Gcebile Mlambo will be participating in the Rhino Week tournament hosted in Vanderbijlpark from June 27 to July 1.

The boys will be playing against different provinces such as KZN, Western Province, North West, Mpumalanga, and many more. They are playing for a chance to be chosen to represent South Africa in Europe.

This is Gcebile’s first time participating in Rhino Week, while Tristan played last year and was selected to go play in Ireland. With aspirations of an equally successful outcome this year, Tristan is excited to gain more exposure and open new doors in his rugby career.
