Join the bark run for furry friends at Roodepoort parkrun

The Roodepoort parkrun is hosting a special bark run on June 17 in honour of Kandas, the Giant Schnauzer, that died in May 2020.

Quinton Quait, Kandas’ human, brought about the event in order to collect necessities like blankets, food and cleaning materials (Jeyes Fluid, bleach and pine gel) for dogs and cats living in shelters. Any other items that might assist these animals during the winter will also be appreciated.

Join the bark run at the Len Rutter Park, at 8:00, in support of animal welfare.
