Equestrians celebrate spring during Showjumping Training Show

Horseback riders enjoy a fun showjumping training show while welcoming Spring.

Equestrians from all over Roodepoort joined Honeydew Equestrian Centre for their Spring Showjumping Training Show on August 20.

The theme for the training show was Spring has Sprung, and the riders did not disappoint! Dressed in flowery, blooming colours, the riders competed in their individual classes with grace and good sportsmanship. The show is a great way for young riders, and horses, to learn and gain more experience in the showjumping arena.

Riders could complete the course, even when eliminated and retry and improve upon their first attempts. With no age limit, experience needed, or strict rules governing the event, this was a perfect day out for horse lovers and riders. The event saw riders from Honeydew Equestrian Centre, Chestnut Stables and Equilibré, to name a few, take part in the show.
