Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes available in Roodepoort

Director and Head Coach Cas Binks is a registered mixed martial arts trainer who has been training in mixed martial arts for the past 17 years.

Fight24 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a martial arts academy specialising in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and mixed martial arts.

The academy opened in mid-August and their services include recreational martial arts, amateur and professional martial arts.

Director and Head Coach Cas Binks is a registered mixed martial arts trainer who has been training in mixed martial arts for the past 17 years.

Cas is among the highest rated kids BJJ coach in the country with a studio in Randpark, and classes at the Roodepoort academy are filling up fast.

“Our adult program includes mixed martial arts which is a combination of striking, takedown and ground fighting. Our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes are fun, interactive and focuses solely on ground fighting forcing an opponent to give up throughout a combination of joint locks and pressures,” said Cas.

BJJ was originally designed to assist smaller individuals to overcome a much bigger stronger opponents so this makes it an effective means for women and children to defend themselves.

It is also one of the fastest growing sports in the world attracting celebrities such as Keanu Reeves and Tom Hardy.

Fight24 offers both private and class training, to thousands of BJJ practitioners this is more than just a sport but a lifestyle.

According to Cas, one will find themselves becoming stronger, more agile, less stressed and more confident.
