Pinnacle’s Neo shines at acrobatics dance competition

Her months of dedication and talent grabbed the judge's attention, earning her a chance to showcase her skills on a bigger stage.

Neo Mekgoe from Pinnacle College Ridge View has qualified for the provincial stage of the Acrobatic Sport South Africa Acrobatics Dance Competition after placing second overall in her category at the qualifying event.

According to the school’s head of marketing and admissions, Joanita Boshoff, Neo’s performance secured her a place in the provincial competition.

“Neo continues to demonstrate exceptional dedication, discipline and passion for her sport, and we are extremely proud of her commitment and growth in acrobatics,” she said.

The competition provides acrobatic dancers with the opportunity to showcase their skills while competing against athletes from clubs and schools across the country.

Competitors progress through qualifying rounds, with top performers advancing to higher levels of the competition, and Neo’s achievement marks another milestone in her acrobatics journey.
