LITTLE FALLS – Join RED Day and help support St Laurence’s Children’s Haven.
KWSync West Rand, based in Honeydew has asked the community to participate in the eighth annual Keller Williams Realty RED day by hopping on a bike for their spinathon.
Renew, energise, donate (RED) is the theme of the event where more than 790 offices from around the world contribute days to uplifting the community. KWSync West Rand has chosen St Laurence’s Children’s Haven as their beneficiary for the day.
St Laurence’s Children’s Home cares for abused and abandoned children. On a daily basis, the home offers a place of safety to about 22 children. For many of the children, this is, for the first time, a home where they are fed three meals a day, cared for and supervised. It is through patience and love that most of the children overcome the pain and trauma they have experienced, in order to become healthy and happy children.
The spinathon will be hosted at Virgin Active Gym in Little Falls. Funds are raised by charging R100 per seat and R60 for Virgin Active Gym members. Each slot lasts an hour and starts from 7am until 12pm.
The owner of KWSync, Peter bell, said, “Everyone has a social responsibility to make a difference in their community.”
“We are pleased to be supporting St Laurence’s Children’s Haven and through this event provide them with whatever they need,” added Bell.
