Norwood Police Station welcomes new police staff

Colonel Patrick Mathe says Norwood Police Station promotes and acquires new staff annually.

Norwood Police Station’s acting station commander Colonel Patrick Mathe is elated about the new management and recruitment at the station.

Speaking on November 10, Mathe said he was satisfied with the station’s human resources.

“The newly appointed warrant officers and captains will fill up gaps in the station. There were also management promotions and what is expected of them are leadership skills they possess and ensure the successes of the station which includes fighting crime.”

Newly recruited Captain Khutso Matheta said she was excited to join the station and was ready to better it with her expertise.

Mathe added, “The station expects nothing less than good leadership from the police offers, the new management team is also to be supportive of their staff while they carry out their duties.”

Newly recruited Warrant Officer Aiden Billings added that he was impressed with the station’s standard and was glad to have joined the station.

“The station looks like it is led by a good captain, and I am happy to be part of the ship and be directed by good leadership.”
