Did We Dance: Ukutshona ko Mendi

The tragic story of the South African soldiers trapped on the SS Mendi as it sank in British waters during the First World War. The title is derived from the legend of the ‘death dance’ – the men performed one last, barefooted dance on the tilting deck before the Mendi disappeared into the ocean.
