Defending, passing and speed were tested during a friendly match, with BSI head of football David Thorpe saying that the session was preparation for the team’s remaining three fixtures. “We are managing the fatigue levels after a long and hard season, as well as making sure that the work we have done throughout the year on the development of football is still evident in the coming three weeks,” said Thorpe.

Thorpe added that the practice session worked on the players’ sharpness to prepare for matches, focusing on defensive and attacking principles related to different phases. “The season has been tough and we aimed for the higher league. We struggled, but more than anything we developed our players through our coaches and experts,” he said.
