ROSEBANK – It was an early start for the Grade 1s at Rosebank Primary School, witness the cute moments here.


Grade 1 learners from Rosebank Primary School started arriving early for their first day at ‘big school’.

It was an early start for the tired learners who must have been so excited to start their first day of Grade 1.

Head of department at Rosebank Primary School, Debbie Barnard addressed the parents of the new learners. “Thank you for choosing our school… we know that we will enter this journey together and work together and that it is a very positive one,” said Barnard.

Rosebank Killarney Gazette journalist, Naidine Sibanda was there from the wee hours of the morning to make sure not to miss a smile or nervous tear.
