Gala dinner to raise funds in spectacular fashion
JOBURG - A sumptuous meal, fine wines, music and dance will be the order of the evening at a gala dinner to be held in aid of Hospice Wits.
Eros, a journey of life, laughter and love, will also celebrate Bidvest Group Limited’s 25th anniversary.
The black tie event, to take place at the Sandton Convention Centre, promises to bring to life the synergy between the old and the new, the classical and the contemporary.
Guests can enjoy a three-course meal including a starter prepared by Justin Quek, one of Asia’s most celebrated chefs. A selection of fine wines will complement the meal.
According to Hospice Wits’ Julie McLeod, “Guests will also experience the prowess of South Africa’s most awarded recording and theatrical luminaries, supported by a 13-piece band, a 64-piece orchestra, and appearances by some of the hottest local dancing talent, including the SA Mzansi Ballet Company.”
Performers from the Romanian Gymnastics Association and Mauritian soprano Veronique Zuel-Bungaroo will also take to the stage.
