Burgin receives honour at Ruby Golf Classic

JOBURG – Dr Solly Burgin was honoured at the ORT SA Ruby Golf Classic championship for his long-standing commitment to the improvement of education in South Africa.

For more than three decades, Burgin has continued to fulfil his passion of raising funds for ORT SA’s projects and programmes.

Some players were participating in the ORT SA Classic for at least the 20th time.

The first prize was won by Warren Solomon and his team. All proceeds will benefit the organisation’s projects in primary and high schools, as well as helping small businesses to grow.

Ort SA’s projects impact the lives of some 24 000 people every day.
