Parkview Police are searching for three suspects who were involved in a house robbery in Parkhurst.
According to Parkview Police spokesperson Sergeant Lloyd Ramovha, the three male suspects stormed through the back door of the house on 14th Street. One of them had a firearm and pointed it at the homeowner and threatened to “shoot him if he didn’t cooperate”.
The suspects then allegedly tied up the homeowner using cable ties before ransacking the home and demanding jewellery.
“At this stage they brought into the same room [a] tenant who had been in the cottage [and] also tied her up,” said Ramovha.
The suspects made off with household goods to the value of R75 000, which included two laptops, a computer and jewellery. An investigation is underway, however no arrests have been made.
