According to Russel Meiring of ER24, when ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found a woman lying in the passage of the residence in a critical condition.
“Paramedics immediately began their treatment, providing the patient with advanced life support. Unfortunately the patient succumbed to her injuries.
“Four other people sustained minor injuries, three of them children,” said Meiring.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and transported them to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
