To the delight of residents, the Norwood Municipal Refuse Centre is looking less like a dump and more like a vegetable garden thanks to the green fingers of its workers.
According to North Eastern Tribune reader Pippa Hughes, the centre has been “turned into an oasis of fresh produce by the workers” and now bursts with edible greenery, including fertile beds of spinach and mealies.

Mealies proliferate in the green oasis springing up at Norwood dump.
