New Dragon Ball Z TV anime to hit small screens
JOHANNESBURG – Fans of the popular anime (a style of animation created in Japan) Dragon Ball Z, will be happy to hear that the highly- anticipated TV show will debut in Japan on 5 July.
The 28th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has revealed that the Dragon Ball Z TV show will premier after the broadcast of the Dragon Ball Kai series has ended.
According to Animenewsnetwork.com, the magazine issue also revealed that the new series will premiere on Fuji TV and other channels on Sundays at 9am.
This will be the first new Dragon Ball TV series since Dragon Ball GT, which aired from 1996 to 1997.
The big news is that the series creator, Akira Toriyama is onboard and writing the story.
Masako Nozawa, the voice of Goku, Gohan, and Goten, is also returning for the series. The story is reportedly set a few years after the defeat of Majin Buu when the earth has become peaceful once again – and will surely introduce a new villain.
