Body Worlds to host exclusive evening

The Body Worlds Vital Exhibition, currently taking place at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre in Newtown, will extend its opening hours for one night only to give guests an exclusive After dark experience.
The exhibition invited guests to examine 180 anatomical specimens that have undergone the process of plastination – the process used to preserve bodies or body parts by replacing the water and fat with certain plastics which means specimens can be touched, and do not decay.
The theme of this specific exhibition is different to the Body World exhibitions that have visited the city before. This time, they’ve focused on health, vitality, the body’s athletic potential and the effects of certain major chronic diseases.
The After dark experience will give guests the chance to walk through the exhibition at their leisure, as well as enjoy the experience by dining on local cheeses and divine wines.
The Body Worlds Vital’s After dark experience will take place on 28 April from 6pm to 9pm at the Sci-Bono Discovery Centre.
Tickets to the After dark experience are limited and cost R350.
