Robbery on Rothesay

CRAIGHALL PARK – Police officers are looking to nab suspects for a burglary at an apartment.

Parkview police officers are on the hunt for suspects in connection with a recent burglary at an apartment on Rothesay Avenue in Craighall Park.

According to Parkview Police Station’s spokesperson, Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, the complainant left her apartment on the morning of 17 September at about 9am to run errands.

When she returned at about noon, the resident found her windows wide open and her kitchen door unlocked.

Sibeko said, “Jewellery of an undisclosed amount was stolen from a jewellery box along with a Canon camera worth

R11 000.

“A case of house robbery has been opened at the station. So far there have been no arrests and we are appealing to anyone with information that could assist in breaking the case to come forward.”
