
Bramley police officers are looking to the local community to stand up and become informers for the Bramley policing precinct.
The job of an informer is to provide the police with any information pertaining to crimes which will assist them in apprehending wanted suspects and preventing crime.

A potential informer must be 16 years of age or older and can either be male or female. The candidate must have a South African identity document or passport.
The recruited candidate will be registered as an informer and will be under the mentorship of a police official, otherwise known as a handler. The informer’s personal details will only be known by the handler and all the information supplied to a handler will be treated as confidential.
