Norwood police officers arrested 20 suspects for committing different crimes ranging from shoplifting to assault common. The arrests were made between 7 to 12 May,
According to the spokesperson for Norwood Police Station, Elliot Tshivhase, the arrests were as follows:
- 1 for assault common in a domestic violence dispute
- 3 for assault with grievous bodily harm
- 1 for firearm possession
- 1 for shoplifting
- 2 for fraud
- 4 for theft
- 2 for malicious damage to property and assault common
- 6 for assault common.
“All suspects will appear in court while others have paid bail. Police will continue to arrest those caught at the wrong side of the law and investigations on those arrested is still continuing,” concluded Tshivhase.
