BabyYumYum raises awareness of road safety

WAVERLY – The motorist along Corlett Drive were given important advice on road safety on 24 October.

The motorists along Corlett Drive were treated to important transport safety information from the BabyYumYum parenting portal on 24 October.

The BabyYumYum parenting portal assists with information on pregnancy and child-rearing and safety. The organisation alongside their mascot, the BabyYumYum bear, handed out flyers and Baby On Board stickers at the Corlett Drive and Athol Oaklands Road intersection in the morning to share important lessons to remember for road safety.

The BabyYumYum parenting portal founder Amanda Rogaly said, “Transport Month provides an ideal opportunity to draw attention to safe driving practices and precautions parents can implement to safeguard our young on the roads. Our aim is to use the Baby On Board sticker as a springboard to creating awareness of road safety, encouraging safer, considerate, and more tolerant driving.

“Our mascot captured the hearts of motorists at various intersections, including Corlett Drive and visited the kids at King David Rosebelle Klein Nursery School in Waverly, sharing an important statement about making the roads safer for our kids.”

She concluded, “It has been heartwarming to watch the kids loving our bear while at the same time giving the message of safety on the roads for Transport Month.”
