JOHANNESBURG – City of Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba and his security team make citizen's arrest of a man with trolley of cow heads.
Executive Mayor for the City of Johannesburg Herman Mashaba and his security team made a citizen’s arrest after seeing a man pushing cow heads in a trolley in the Joburg CBD.
The spokesperson for the Metro police Chief superintendent Wayne Minnaar said Mashaba was driving through the inner city with his security detail at about 6pm when they noticed a man with an open trolley in which were nine cow heads at the corner of Harrison and Smit streets.
Minnaar said they apprehended the man until the Metro police arrived. The man was arrested and taken to the Hillbrow Police Station. He added that the cow heads, which were a health hazard, were also confiscated.
Minnaar said the man was an undocumented immigrant and will be deported.
