Power outage in Parktown and surrounding areas
PARKTOWN – City Power said they are aware of the power outage, a technical team has been dispatched to restore power to the affected areas.
Joburg City Power has confirmed on Twitter that the Delta substation distributor has tripped causing a massive loss of supply in many areas surrounding Parktown.
Affected areas include Berea, Hillbrow and Parktown North. A technical team has been dispatched and a time frame of restoring power has not been given as yet.
UPDATE: Delta substation distributor tripped, Causing a total loss of supply to the following suburbs:
Berea
Hillbrow
ParkTown, And surrounds.
