In attendance were gym enthusiasts and trainers who wanted to stay fit and keep warm.

Leading the warm-up session was Lebo Olebile, who stressed the importance of warming up before each workout. She added that she was new to the aerobics class.
“I started attending the gym here two weeks ago, but professionally I’m a student at Fit Pro Institute of Professionals,” she said. “I’m about to complete my group aerobics exercise course.”
Olebile added that she enjoys keeping fit, but began taking her fitness seriously by attending the gym in 2018 while in high school.

The aerobics class gained momentum as the different stations offered different workouts including sit-ups, dumbbell lifting and knee raises.

Norwood Fit Fusion founder Amanda Nkalitshana said she established the gym in August 2022 after seeing how aerobics helped her physically and emotionally.
“I established it with the aim of helping our community, that can’t afford fancy gyms, rebuild their confidence while understanding that exercising is not only about losing weight,” she said.
