Not only is the party’s theme, fetish, but it is also a space that denounces violence, homophobia and problematic bigotry.

“Fetish denotes an obsession and it evokes another part of our psyche, a part that is, in fact, very creative. But really, it’s about my obsession with music and experimenting,” Mazwai said.

BLKJKSSNDSYSTM, DJ Doowap, Lady Skollie, Lelo Whats Good and Teedo Love join the line-up at the Factory. Even though early bird tickets sold out within two days following the announcement, standard tickets are available at quicket.com for R250.

“So throw away your inhibitions and expectations and be prepared for many sexy musical surprises,” Mazwai said.
