“We also had one suspect arrested for possession of stolen property, another one facing a charge of possession of stolen vehicle and one for business robbery. There was another suspect arrested for theft out of motor vehicle, one for intimidation and the other suspect was arrested for malicious damage to property.”
He said they also arrested a suspect for reckless and negligent driving and three faced charges of possession of drugs.
The vehicles recovered included three Chryslers, a Mazda 323 and a NP200 bakkie which were all reported stolen.
“As for the hijacked vehicles, there are four Toyota Tazz’s, a BMW and an Isuzu KB bakkie as well as a Toyota Fortuner.”
