Da Capo voted the best Afro-house DJ
JOBURG – Da Capo walks away with the Best Afro House DJ Award at this year’s DJ Awards in Ibiza.
DJ and producer, Da Capo has cemented his place on the global dance music scene following a win at this year’s DJ Awards.

Hosted at Heart Ibiza, the DJ Awards are a celebration of the electronic music scene and aim to recognise and honour DJs and individuals who have influenced electronic dance music worldwide. The awards’ 22nd edition featured 14 categories and South Africa’s Da Capo walked away with the Best Afro House DJ Award.
“Captured the kryptonite, once again this is for the dacapoholics. Thank you DJ Awards, thank you Soulistic Music,” Da Capo said in a tweet.

According to the awards, it was not only an important night for those who walked away with the coveted Kryptonite awards, but also the event itself was taking on an important theme to support No More Plastic. Working together with Eco Partner Oceanic Global, the awards help create awareness to the industry while building on Ibiza’s commitment to eco-conscious change.
