Call for residents to attend the CPF meetings
BRAMLEY – Residents are reminded to attend the CPF sector meeting in which the new executive members will be elected.
Following a poor turnout on 23 October at the Malboro Stadium, the election for Bramley Sector 1 executive committee did not occur.
Chairperson for Bramley Community Policing Forum (CPF) Harvey Phalatse said they would recall the meeting again within 14 days. “Unfortunately the elections could not be held as there were not enough residents to form a quorum. We will call another meeting within 14 days.”
Meanwhile, the elections for Sector 2 are scheduled to take place on 5 November at the Bramley Police Station. The elections for Sector 4 will be held on 19 November at the Saxon Hotel while for Sector 3 will be held at Sasol head office in Sandton.
All residents are encouraged to attend the election meetings as this will lead to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections of the Bramley’s main executive to be held on 27 November.
All the meeting are scheduled to take place at 6pm.
