Play golf and support frail residents at Park Care Centre

PARKTOWN WEST – Join the Golf Day on 14 November in support of the Park Care Centre.

Park Care Centre urges community members to show their support for the frail people in their care by participating in the Synbarr Golf Day in Bedfordview on 14 November.

The day aims to raise funds for Park Care Centre, located in Parktown West, and Sighthound Sanctuary (a haven for orphaned and elderly sighthounds).

Park Care Centre provides a refuge for frail people from all walks of life, cultures, income groups, nationality, religions, race and age.

Business development officer at Park Care Centre Jaqui Smith said, “Your team spirit will make this golf day a huge success, ensuring sustainable and beneficial fundraising for Park Care Centre and Sighthound Sanctuary.”

“Your patronage will most certainly endorse the high value we place on our work and the 24/7 nursing services we offer. Above all, it will verify the importance of holistic, palliative, long-term 24/7 nursing care for every frail person,” said Smith.

The event costs R3 200 per four-ball and R1 550 per two-ball.

There are still sponsorships available for hole partner (R1 500), putting green partner (R2 000), halfway house partnership (R5 000), hole branding (R1 000) and hole and four-ball package (R4 500).
