Planned power outage for the inner-city tomorrow

CENTRAL JOHANNESBURG – As the power supply may be restored anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times.


City Power has issued an announced a planned power outage that is set to hit Marshalltown and the inner-city of Johannesburg. 

The planned power interruption will take place on 14 November from 10pm.

“The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our system which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide better service,” said City Power in a released statement.

The interruption will take place from 10pm until 6am, the morning of 15 November.

“As the power supply may be restored anytime, customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times,” added City Power.
