Planned power outage cancelled for Craighall Park and Hyde Park
CRAIGHALL – The power interruption was scheduled for this evening (12 December).
City Power has notified residents in Hyde Park and Craighall Park that a planned power interruption for 12 December has been cancelled.
The power outage was set to begin from 7pm on 12 December until 3am on 13 December. City Power said it had been cancelled due to load-shedding.
The power interruption was for essential maintenance work on the City Power network.
Eskom has implemented Stage 2 rotational load-shedding from 9am to 11pm, the power utility has experienced numerous loss of supply and shortage of capacity.
