Dubbed The future is bright, the campaign aims to help students who have outstanding fees, no registration money or funding to further their studies.
The star took to her social media platforms to announce the partnership and echoed her sentiments to make education accessible for all and standing with the youth.
“What I found was that so many bursaries out there are structured and engineered for people who have their ducks in a row and sometimes life throws curveballs,” Mbatha said.
With R500 000 to be invested in tertiary bursaries to qualifying applicants who meet the application requirements. Bursaries will range from first-year to fourth-year level .
“We are here to say that we want to be the solution to whatever bailout fund that you may need,” she said.
