Taxi collision leaves 6 injured and 1 in serious condition in Braamfontein

BRAAMFONTEIN – Seven patients were treated and transported to the hospital after an alleged hit and run.


Emer-G-Med responded to a taxi collision at the intersection of Harrison and De Korte streets in Braamfontein on 11 February.

Emer-G-ed said seven commuters were injured including one who sustained serious injuries and required advanced life support treatment. The other six sustained moderate injuries. “It is alleged that the taxi rolled after it was T-boned by another taxi that drove off [hit and run],” said Emer-G-Med.

 

Authorities were on scene for investigations.
