Lesufi receives a forensic investigation report on Enock Mpianzi’s tragic death
PARKTOWN- The forensic investigation into the drowning of Enock Mpianzi is complete and the report was submitted to Gauteng Education Department MEC Panyaza Lesufi on Saturday, 15 February.
MEC for the Gauteng Education Department Panyaza Lesufi said on 15 February the Department of Education had received a forensic investigation report regarding the death of Parktown Boys’ High School learner Enock Mpianzi who drowned during a water activity at the school’s orientation camp on 15 January.
“We will read it over the weekend and share same with the affected families, school community and Gauteng cabinet,” he said. “Subsequently, we will release the report in the next few days. Indeed we are proud of the legal team.”

The nature of the death of the 13-year-old boy has sent the media into a frenzy since the day his body was discovered on 17 January. Friends, family and the community at large are still searching for answers.
