NOTICE: #EmergencyShutdown announced by Joburg Water, affecting numerous suburbs in the north eastern area
JOBURG – Joburg Water initiates an emergency shutdown due to a burst pipe on Corner M1 and Corlette, affecting many parts of the north eastern suburbs.
Joburg Water urges residents to note the emergency water shutdown today (5 March) caused by a major burst pipe at the corner of the M1 and Corlett Drive in Melrose Arch.
The affected suburbs are:
- Melrose Arch
- Melrose North
- Savoy
- Bramley
- Kew
- Bramley View
- Lombardy West and East
- Corlette Gardens
- Winston Ridge
- Alton Hill
- Glenhazel
- Sunningdale
- Silvamonte
- Sandringham
- Parts of Alexandra
