Continue reporting criminal activities

NORWOOD – Residents are encouraged to report criminal activities on 080 010 111 or MYSAPS app or dial 112.

The Norwood Police Station spokesperson, Sergeant Eric Masotsha reminded residents to continue to report criminal activities.

The spokesperson assured residents that the police were on standby to assist anyone irrespective of gender. “To women who are living in an abusive relationship; after reporting the perpetrator to the police please don’t come by the following day to say, ‘I’m here for withdrawal of my domestic violence case because his brother or sister spoke to a respondent to ask for forgiveness’; let the law take its course,” Masotsha said.

He further discouraged men from assaulting the women they claim to love. Residents are encouraged to report criminal activities on 080 010 111 or MYSAPS app or dial 112.
