Find a furry friend at Woodrock
PARKTOWN NORTH – Locals are urged to contribute cat food to the feral feeding scheme.
Woodrock Animal Rescue, a registered pro-life NPO which homes 300 animals, requests the community to contribute cat food to their feral feeding scheme.
Co-founder Stella Meldau said that donations of cat food, books or household goods can be dropped off at 17 Empangeni Road, Paulshof, or at The Garden Shop in Parktown North on Saturdays and Sundays between 9:00 and 14:00.
The pop-up shop in Parktown North, which is usually operational on weekends, is no longer operational during Level 4.
Community members can still contact Woodrock to arrange a viewing.
If you would like to adopt an animal, you will be required to fill out a screening questionnaire and have a home visit before the dog can be taken home. The cost of the adoption is R950 per dog.
