Writers 2000 Club invites new members to online meeting

The Writer's 2000 Club has encouraged writers of all abilities to attend their monthly meetings.

The Covid-19 pandemic has not stopped the committed members of the Writers 2000 Club from meeting each month, and continuing in their endeavours to use the pen for mighty exploits. The group has been meeting online over the past year-and-a-half and all aspiring or established writers are encouraged to attend.

This month, novelist, short-story writer and poet, Judy Croome, will address members about poetry.

Croome was born in Zvishavane, Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). She received a Master of Arts (English) degree from the University of South Africa.
Her short stories and poetry have been published in The Huffington Post, the University of Witwatersrand’s School of Literature, Language and Media’s Itch Magazine and in various print anthologies released by small presses in the United States and South Africa.

Croome has also appeared on South African national television on the South African Broadcasting Corporation’s Channel 2 Morning Live show and on South African national radio on the SAFM Sunday Literature programme.
She has also had articles published in South Africa, including The Sunday Times (South Africa) and internationally by various on-line magazines and websites.
